Teamware Plaza Oy processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The purpose of this privacy policy is to explain how Teamware Plaza Oy collects, processes, and discloses personal data in customer relationships and marketing communications.

4. Purpose of processing personal data

Personal data is processed for purposes related to 1) managing, administering, and developing customer relationships, 2) offering, delivering, and invoicing products and services, and 3) developing products and services. Personal data is also processed for purposes necessary to resolve potential complaints and other claims.

In addition, personal data is processed in communications directed at customers and potential customers, such as newsletters, alerts and annoncement, and in marketing, as part of which personal data is also processed for direct marketing and sales purposes.

The customer has the right to opt out of direct marketing.

The controller processes the data itself and utilises subcontractors acting for and on behalf of the controller in the processing of personal data.

5. Register data

We collect and process the following personal data:

  1. Person's basic information and contact information (first and last name, email address, address, telephone number, picture)
  2. Information related to the person's company or organisation
    1. Organisation or employer (position, title, name, business ID, email address, address, telephone number)
    2. General information about the organisation or employer (e.g. number of personnel, industry, size)
    3. Information about orders (e.g. ordered products, services, delivery and billing information)
  3. Direct marketing permissions and opt out selections of the person

6. Regular data sources

Personal data is collected from the registered person himself/herself in Teamware Plaza Oy's own operations through customer relationships, networking, participation in events, contacting and market research.

Personal data is also collected and updated within the limits of applicable legislation from generally available sources and by using other public and private registers or data sources.

7. Disclosure of personal data

Personal data is generally not disclosed to external parties. Teamware Plaza Oy does not sell, rent, lend or otherwise disclose the information in the register to other parties, unless otherwise required by law, breach of contract or collection measures.

Teamware Plaza Oy and its consolidated group companies have the right to use and disclose the information in the register to each other for the purposes of use in section 4.

8. Transfer of data outside the EU or EEA

Personal data contained in the register will not be transferred outside the EU or EEA.

9. Data retention period

Personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes of processing the personal data or for the period required by law.

10. Principles of data protection

The information in the register is electronically stored and protected to prevent access by unauthorised persons (firewall, IDs, passwords, physical blocking). The use of the register data is limited to the use of essential persons only, and their access to the data is protected by logins and passwords.

Paper materials containing personal data (e.g. written agreements, orders) are stored in locked premises, which are only accessible to named persons authorised to access them due to their duties.

Personal data stored in the register is not deemed confidential.

11. Rights of the data subject

Data subject has the right to:

  • Gain access to their personal data
  • Request correction of incorrect data
  • Request deletion of their data
  • Object to the processing of their data
  • Request restriction of the processing of their data

12. Right to object

If the data subject considers that the processing of personal data is not appropriate or violates data protection legislation, he or she may contact the data protection supervisory authority.
